Build a career in the circular economy
TroCymru is building a new way of working across construction, housing, and sustainability — connecting site activity, logistics, data, and community impact into a single circular system.
As we move through our pilot phase and into live projects, we are creating a pipeline of people who want to be part of this journey. Whether you are looking for future work opportunities or would like to contribute your time through volunteering, we welcome your interest.
Supporting your Social Value (TOMs) requirements
Every apprenticeship, placement, volunteering role, and school engagement activity delivered through TroCymru can contribute directly to Social Value reporting and Welsh Government objectives.
Why TroCymru?
Purpose-driven work
Every role contributes directly to reducing waste, cutting carbon, and supporting Welsh communities.

Rooted in North Wales
We operate across Gwynedd, Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire, Wrexham, and Flintshire — keeping jobs and value local.
Bilingual-friendly employer
We support Welsh and English language use across our operations and encourage the use of Cymraeg where possible.
Benefits of Working at TroCymru
We are building something new — and we want the people who help us build it to benefit from it.
Green Skills Accreditation
CITB-aligned training in waste segregation, material handling, and site safety. Gain recognised qualifications in circular economy and sustainability that are increasingly in demand across the construction sector.
Career Progression
Join at the ground floor of a growing company. As TroCymru expands across Wales, early team members will have clear pathways into supervisory, coordination, and management roles.
Community Impact
Every day your work directly benefits Welsh communities — diverting materials from landfill, creating local jobs, supporting social enterprises, and reducing carbon. This is not a tagline; it is measurable.
Bilingual Workplace
Welsh language is welcomed, supported, and encouraged across all roles. We align with Welsh Language Standards and actively promote the use of Cymraeg in our day-to-day operations.
Flexible & Fair Working
Site-based roles with reasonable hours and proper breaks. Office and data roles with hybrid options where practical. We believe good work does not require burnout.
Meaningful Data Work
Work with real carbon data, live dashboards, and auditable evidence — not spreadsheets in a cupboard. Your data work directly supports ESG reporting and regulatory compliance for our partners.
Training & Development
Ongoing CPD opportunities, circular economy specialist training, and mentoring. We invest in our people because the sector needs skilled professionals who understand both the practical and the technical.
Social Enterprise Ethos
Commercial rigour with social purpose. We operate as a business that measures success not just in revenue, but in tonnes diverted, carbon avoided, jobs created, and communities strengthened.
Our Mission & Values
Our Mission
To build a practical, data-led circular economy for construction in Wales — diverting materials from landfill, creating local jobs, reducing carbon, and delivering auditable evidence that helps our partners meet their environmental and social value commitments.
Our Values
Transparency
We show our working. Every tonne tracked, every carbon factor published, every cost saving auditable. No black boxes.
Rooted Locally
We keep jobs, materials, and value within Welsh communities. If it can be reused locally, it should be.
Circular by Default
Landfill is the last resort, not the first option. We design every process around diversion, reuse, and recovery.
People First
The circular economy only works if it works for people. We invest in skills, apprenticeships, and fair opportunities.
Data-Led Decisions
We measure everything. Real data drives better outcomes for our partners, their communities, and the environment.
Environmental Responsibility
Every decision we make considers its carbon impact. We hold ourselves to the same standards we help our partners achieve.
Join our Talent Pool
We are currently building a pipeline of talent for upcoming roles across site operations, logistics, data reporting, and circular economy coordination. As new projects go live, we will contact individuals from our talent pool first.

All roles are initially offered on a fixed-term or project basis
As TroCymru expands across Wales, pilot-phase team members will be first in line for permanent positions. We are building a team, not filling temporary gaps. Early joiners will shape how these roles develop.

Creating pathways into modern, high-tech green careers
We are committed to developing the next generation of green skills in Wales. TroCymru will offer structured apprenticeships and work placements in partnership with local colleges, universities, and training providers.
Roles include data analysis, digital reporting, and sustainability tracking — positioning circular economy as a future-facing, skilled career path.
Apprenticeships
Earn while you learn in a growing green sector. Our apprenticeships will combine practical on-site experience with formal qualifications in waste management, sustainability, or data and digital skills.
Work Placements
Short-term and structured placements for students, career changers, and anyone looking to gain hands-on experience in the circular economy.
Social Value evidence: Apprenticeships and placements can be used as evidence for TOMs reporting and community benefit targets.

All activities are structured, supervised, and designed to be safe and practical. We aim to match volunteers with opportunities in their local area wherever possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Building something new
TroCymru is at an early stage, working with partners across Wales to develop a new, practical approach to managing materials, reducing waste, and creating measurable value.
By joining our talent pool or volunteering, you are becoming part of that journey from the ground up.
Creating Social Value in North Wales
Every role, placement, and volunteering opportunity at TroCymru contributes to measurable social value — local jobs created, skills developed, carbon avoided, and materials diverted from landfill. This social value is tracked and reported as part of every project we deliver.
We are proud to work with social enterprises, community organisations, and education providers across North Wales to ensure that the benefits of the circular economy reach the people and places that need them most.
